1. INTRODUCTION
The objective of this paper is to give an insight to our
proposed school project to be established in a rural setting where there
is no private school existing that offers the same program.
The school shall be called Precious Heritage Christian
School as already registered with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
under registration number CN2010234 dated September 23, 2010. The registration
to the Department of Education (DepEd) will follow as soon as the proposed
building has been completed as one of the requirements by the accrediting
agency. The proposed school will offer Preparatory, Elementary and Secondary
education. The primary clients are those recipients and beneficiaries of
Precious Heritage Children's Home, Inc. including children in the community-based
programs under our ministry. But since the proposed school is getting towards
self-generating and expected to gain some income to support Precious Heritage
Children's Home as a whole, the proposed school will also accept paying
students around the community. This school project aims to provide free
education for the less fortunate children and offer affordable tuition
fees to the paying children for the offred quality Christian education
programs.
The proposed school will be constructed in a lot owned
by Precious Heritage measuring 600 square meters purchased last December
2010 for this specific purpose.
2. LOCATION
The school project will be established at Sta. Francisca
St, Peñafrancia Subdivision, Purok 2, Mayamot, Antipolo City. This
place is just a 100 meters away from Precious Heritage Children's Home,
600 meters away from the Public School and less than 2.5 kilometers away
from SM Mall. The area is vacant and no building has been constructed yet.
It is surrounded by the residential houses and near the Barangay security
outpost. There are fruit trees, gated and covered with old fence.
3. PROBLEM STATEMENT
The community has no private school who offers Accelerated
Christian Education (ACE) Curriculum. The only available is a public school
that offers elementary education. But since the community is very populated
and the public school building and teachers are not enough, many parents
are complaining because of large students population in a classrooms. The
community, therefore, desires a private school that offers quality and
affordable education for their children. In such a situation, Precious
Heritage acknowledges its calling to reach-out children by establishing
a Christian School.
4. PROJECT OBJECTIVES
a. General objective
The overall objective of this project is to establish
a Christian school that offers high standard education and instill Christian
morals among the students.
b. Specific objectives
1. To build a school from Preparatory up to Secondary
levels for the recipients of Precious Heritage Children's Home and the
recipients of its community-based programs in the place.
2. To provide high standard education that offers free
education to the children from poorest families and affordable tuition
fees to the paying students.
3. To provide employment to the community though manpower
of the school.
4. To become a government partner agency in educating
the children by inculcating Christian morals and values.
5. SCHOOL BUILDING
The proposed School Project will construct one standard-sized
fully furnished school building with two classrooms that can accommodate
40 children each room with morning and afternoon session. lt will be a
single storey building with foundation prepared for two storey. The building
includes toilets for boys and girls. The construction will be managed by
one engineer free of service and the community skilled workers available
for the daily wage pay. This building can be finished in 2 months time
but it will greatly depend on the fund raised for this purpose.
6. BUILDING CONTRUCTION PLAN
Since Precious Heritage always depends on God's provision
for its project, we plan to construct the building in a staggered basis
as fund is provided.
The construction will start from one classroom until its
completion. Once it is completed, the construction workers will then proceed
to the next room. While the second classroom is under process, the
children can then used the first immediately.
It is hoped that the first classroom will be finished
by November 2011 so that the Children at Precious Heritage Children's Home
who are undergoing home schooling can be transferred right away.
The school activities and plan for the year 2011 will
be determined by the success of the on-going fundraising by the President
of Precious Heritage Ministries Foundation.

9. SOURCING OF FUNDS
This project doesn't have specific sources but we are
confident that God will provide and will continue to provide funds through
the help of our brethren locally and abroad. The President of Precious
Heritage Ministries Foundation will make an appeal to his friends and ministry
contact to ask for an individual contribution in any amount they can afford
to share in this project. With the initial seed money of $2,000 donated
by Hewlett Packard employees, Precious Heritage family is very confident
that God will be faithful to complete it in His appointed time (Phil. 1:6).
Everything in Precious Heritage project is undergirded by prayer. The wonderful
Heavenly Father put this work in their hearts and they are certain that
He will be faithful to complete it!
They believe that even the small contributions from any
individual who love to share for the sake of these children, the proposed
school project is attainable with the help of God. They are encouraging
everyone to join in accomplishing this project. They welcome individuals
and group to contribute any amount they can afford to realize this wonderful
project for the children.
10. INDICATORS FOR SUCCESS
There are numerous indicators for the success and effectiveness
of the school project which include the following:
a. The Trustees of Precious
Heritage are people of integrity and committed to the whole project, so
success is expected.
b. The community is awaiting
for this project to start immediately so that their children could enroll
anytime.
c. Expertise (Engineer) is available
for free and manpower from the community is undoubtedly available at the
locality and reliable for such a Job with maximum commitment and efficiency.
d. The building plan has been
completed already and the building permit is underway for the immediate
construction anytime of the day.
e. The Precious Heritage children
have been praying for the project for years and they are very confident
that God will make a way to realize the project very soon.
.
11. MANAGEMENT
The Trustees of Precious Heritage will ensure the daily,
monthly and annual Welfare of the school and its staff and students. It
will provide report and and submits recommendations and requests to the
Department of Education, the donors and other government and local organizations
for the good of the project. They will also maintain close relationship
with the local community.
The proposed school has already paid its registration
to School of Tomorrow in order to use their curriculum after the initial
preparation and has already hired Christian teachers (licensed) who have
undergone training from School of Tomorrow already including the staff
and administrators.
The project will start its operation from the children
and at the campus of Precious Heritage Children's Home while the building
construction is under process. After its completion, the children will
immediately transfer to the school site for more privacy and spacious place.
The project will only accept enrollees from the community
after the completion of the whole school building for the initial 60-80
students.
Below is the proposed school structure for its initial
operation. It will hire more school manpower in the future while the student
population is growing:

12. CONCLUSION
This school project will initially start inside Precious
Heritage Children's Home with its ward. While it is in operation, the school
building will be built gradually phase by phase depending on the regularity
of the funds inflow from the fund raising activities. It is expected and
estimated that the school building with provision of 2 classrooms will
take 6 months up to 2 years to be completed. After the first classroom
is completed, the students at Precious Heritage Children's Home will transfer
immediately and utilize it while the next classroom is being constructed.
The project will only accept students from the community after the completion
of the whole building with 2 classrooms to gain additional income for the
overall needs of Precious Heritage Children's Home. This school is also
expected to offer Vocational Trainings in the future for the skills training
needs of the children at Precious Heritage Children's Home.
The implementation plan may change as deemed necessary
and the budget may be revised accordingly.
We thank God for touching everyone to share any amount
to realize this project. If you feel moved, we pray that you will consider
joining us in our mission. By becoming our donor, you are with us
in bringing love and hope to the children in need.
